In celebration of the project coming to an end, the project team is excited to share a fall tour series of the new 35W@94 project area. There are multiple opportunities to view new construction features, enjoy new access points, and view public art from local artists. Choose a tour that fits your schedule and discover the benefits of the new 35W@94!

Mini walking tours will start on the Midtown Greenway during the Greenway Glow event. The project team will guide participants through the new Green Crescent, a narrow park that connects the Midtown Greenway to the new Lake Street Transit station and will highlight bike and pedestrian features, access to the Midtown Greenway, and local art. Stop by our booth on the Midtown Greenway under I-35W during the event.

15-minute tours will start at 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.
No registration required for mini tours
This bicycle tour will highlight new improvements along I-35W and will finish at the new Lake Street Transit Station. Participants will enjoy a 4-mile, guided bike ride from the Kingfield Farmers Market, view the new stormwater storage area, bike over the new 40th Street pedestrian bridge, and end at the new Lake Street Transit Station with stops along the way.

10 a.m.—12 p.m.
This walking tour will take place in partnership with Hennepin History Museum. The tour will highlight new improvements along I-35W and will finish at Hennepin History Museum to view the new exhibit, Human Toll: A Public History of 35W.
Participants will enjoy a 1-mile, guided walk from the museum, over the new 24th Street pedestrian bridge, across the new Franklin Ave bridge, and back to the museum with stops along the way.
